GENERAL INFORMATION
Take Back The Nights – Light The Future runs on a 3D game simulation. Festival-goers should register at https://takebackthenights.eventbrite.com and will receive instructions to create their own avatar on the festival date. The Festival is best accessed on a desktop or laptop, and avatars are controlled using the W,A,S,D keys, the spacebar, and the mouse. No additional VR gear is required.

Where is the Take Back The Nights – Light the Future happening?
The Festival takes place at www.takebackthenights.com/lightthefuture. The Festival World is open only on Festival Dates at specific hours.
What are the dates and timings of Take Back The Nights – Light the Future?
The 4-part Music Festival experience happens every first Friday of every month from August to November 2021: Tune in for new installments on 6th August 2021, 3rd September 2021, 1st October 2021 and 5th November 2021. The Festival World, www.takebackthenights.com/lightthefuture, goes live at 5pm (SGT) on Festival Dates and closes at 11pm (SGT). Enter the Festival World early to place your happy hour orders with our Festival F&B Partners to enjoy your purchases during the show.
How much are tickets to Take Back The Nights – Light the Future?
General Admission to the Music Festival experience is free for all!
Festival Superpower upgrades and Kloud Klass VIP Boxes can be purchased for priority entry to the Music Festival experience.
Food & Beverage packages from our partners and Festival Superpowers upgrades can be purchased in-world on Festival Dates.
How do I get my tickets to Take Back The Nights – Light the Future?
Go to our ticketing agent, https://takebackthenights.eventbrite.com. There are General Admission tickets, Festival Superpower upgrades and Kloud Klass VIP Boxes for purchase.
Is my ticket valid for all the Festival Dates?
Yes, one ticket allows you to create a profile that persists and can be used to access the Festival World across all 4 Festival Dates. Due to specific server limits, your Festival World entry is not guaranteed. VIPs enjoy priority entry.
Can I enter the Festival at any time?
The Festival World is only open from 5-11pm (SGT) every first Friday of the month from August to November 2021. Due to specific server limits, your entry (and subsequent re-entry, if you exit) to the Festival World is not guaranteed. VIPs enjoy priority entry over General Admission ticket holders.
What can I do at the Festival?
It’s your Festival World to discover with your friends, but here are our favourites:
- Enjoy specially curated music performances from multiple genres across 2 stages
- Sit in on panel talks with industry insiders discussing things that matter
- Get up close to virtual artwork by our artist partners, Metamo Industries, Humanoise and SuperCyberTown
- Purchase festival treats from our Festival F&B Partners in-game during happy hour, and have it delivered to you in real life
- Save time between stages by jumping on our in-world public transportation, including riding Chomp Chomp the Stingray and Sambal the Whale

Is there a minimum age to access the Festival?
Take Back The Nights – Light The Future is an all-ages event. For music acts with stronger language, a language advisory pop-up may be posted in the Festival World.
PROGRAMMING
Who are the music acts on the bill?
There are 16 music acts who cut across several genres. These include Inquisitive, DJ Aldrin, Haneri, Linying, Plainsunset, O$P$, Shirlyn + the UnXpected, Jack & Rai, Astronauts, Fingerfunk and many more.
Can I select which music acts to watch on demand?
Take Back The Nights – Light the Future follows a Festival Schedule. There are no on-demand video features. You can select which acts to watch the traditional way, by heading to their stage when they are scheduled to play.
Will the same line up be playing on all 4 first Fridays from August to November?
No, we are rotating our roster of 16 acts. We feature 4 music acts and all new panellists each installment of the Festival. Follow our Instagram, Facebook and website for updates.
When will the Festival Schedule be posted?
Festival Schedules with music set timings, panel sessions details and pop-up activities will be made available on our website and our social media platforms a few days before the Festival. You will also be able to find the schedule on our LINE UP PAGE.
UPGRADES FROM GENERAL ADMISSION
What are Festival Superpowers and Kloud Klass VIP Boxes?
There are three tiers of Festival Superpowers:
- Tier 1 ($14.90) Superpowers give you access to 2 music stages, and let you enjoy public transport options around the open world via The Light Transit. You will also gain access to joy rides on Chomp Chomp the Stingray and Sambal the Whale. When you purchase Tier 1 Superpowers, the superpowers will persist through all instalments of Take Back The Nights – Light The Future.
PSA: Do not delete your email that contains the unique upgrade codes. You will need to key them into the Festival World to unlock your upgrade.
- Tier 2 ($18.90) Superpowers unlock the additional ability to fly around the festival grounds. In addition to Tier 1 Superpowers, you will gain additional access to VIP areas and panel talks on the Skky Stage. When you purchase Tier 2 Superpowers, the superpowers will persist through all installments of Take Back The Nights – Light The Future.
PSA: Do not delete your email that contains the unique upgrade codes. You will need to key them into the Festival World to unlock your upgrade.
- Kloud Klass VIP packages for groups of 4-pax ($399.90) and 8-pax ($699.90) bring in-world Food & Beverage to you in the real world. In addition to Tier 2 Festival Superpowers, festival food, beverage and other merchandise will be delivered to VIPs in real life, along with exclusive upgrade codes. Tier 2 Superpowers persist through all installments of Take Back The Nights – Light The Future. A Kloud Klass VIP box will be sent to your address only once. You have the option to repurchase new boxes on Eventbrite for future installments of the Festival. VIPs also get priority entry to the Festival World.
PSA: Do not lose your welcome card that contains the unique upgrade codes. You will need to key them into the Festival World to unlock your upgrade.
How do I get Festival Superpowers or upgrade to Kloud Klass VIP?
Payment for Festival Superpowers and Kloud Klass VIP can be made in advance on our Eventbrite page, https://takebackthenights.eventbrite.com. You will receive an email with an upgrade code to key in as you enter the Festival World.
You can also upgrade to Festival Superpowers in-world, by accessing the menu on the bottom right of the page which will direct you to our ticketing partner, Eventbrite.
I want to get some Festival Superpowers or upgrade to Kloud Klass VIP. What are the payment methods I can use?
Our ticketing partner, Eventbrite, is able to securely accept credit card and debit card payments (Visa, Mastercard) ,as well as payments made with Paypal.
Are my Festival Superpowers refundable?
No. All payments made for Festival Superpowers are non-refundable.

Where can I purchase the Kloud Klass VIP Box?

What is the latest time I can order my Kloud Klass VIP Box?
Kloud Klass VIP Box orders close 5 days before the next Festival Date to allow time for packing and shipping. Your Kloud Klass VIP Box will arrive 2-3 days before the next Festival Date.
It’s less than 5 days before the next Festival Date but I really want to upgrade to a Kloud Klass VIP. Can I upgrade in-world?
Limited Kloud Klass VIP Boxes can be purchased in the Festival World before 6:59pm. The purchase button is on the bottom right of the menu, which can be accessed when you enter the Festival World. You will receive your unique upgrade codes via your registered email address. Do not delete your email that contains the unique upgrade codes. You will need to key them into the Festival World to unlock your upgrade.
If you order before the 6:59pm cut-off timing, you will receive your Kloud Klass VIP Box on the same Festival Date. If you miss the cut-off timing, you will receive your Kloud Klass VIP box 2-3 days before the next installment of the Music Festival experience.

I want to be a VIP! How many Kloud Klass VIP boxes and Festival Superpower upgrade codes do I get?
Each sign up for Kloud Klass VIP comes with 1 Kloud Klass VIP box and as many Festival Superpower upgrade codes as your package accounts for. For example, a 4-pax Kloud Klass VIP box comes with 4 upgrade codes to activate Festival Superpowers.
I’m already a VIP! How do I get another Kloud Klass VIP box for subsequent Festival dates?
Order another VIP Kloud Klass box via our ticketing agent, https://takebackthenights.eventbrite.com, at least 5 days before the next Festival Date.
Will I get my refund for the Kloud Klass VIP packages if the Music Festival is cancelled?
In the unlikely event that the Music Festival experience is cancelled, Kloud Klass VIP Boxes that are not delivered can be refunded via Eventbrite. You can also choose to accept delivery of the Kloud Klass VIP Boxes.
What if I have other questions about the Kloud Klass VIP Box?

FOOD & BEVERAGE
Is food and beverage available at the Festival?
Festival food and beverage are available for purchase at the Festival World’s Partners’ Square and can be delivered to you in real life.
How do I get the food and drinks delivered?
You will have access to our F&B Partners’ websites in the Festival World to both make your order and pay securely via our F&B Partners’ preferred payment gateway. Our F&B Partners or their usual third party delivery platform will make the delivery to your address.
What is the cut-off time for orders from Festival F&B Partners?
It varies. Please refer to our individual partners for their delivery limitations (if any) and cut-off times.
Are my payments for Festival F&B Partners refundable?
All payments for Festival F&B are made directly to Festival F&B Partners via their own websites. Take Back The Nights does not have access to our F&B Partners ordering sites or payment platforms and are unable to process refunds or otherwise access your transaction details.
